Location: Less than 2 kilometers from the port of Castro, in the tranquility of the Marittima countryside one finds Il Boschetto, a small home with "volte a stella" (star vaulted ceilings) immersed in the green of its olive grove and completely enclosed by dry stone walls.
House: The house has two adjacent units which are not connected from the inside. All rooms have French-doors that open up under the covered furnished veranda  in front of the house. The older part of the house has a living/dining area , with fireplace, which is connecting with a twin room, a small hallway that leads to the bathroom with shower and an door which leads us to the back of the house where an outdoor shower is to be found. The new building has a double room, a small room with stacked beds build in stone and a small half bathroom (no  shower/bath)  Attached to the outside of the house under a protected roof is the kitchen, basic but equipped.
Personal note: Here is a large stone table and a BBQ in the shade of an enormous fig tree as well as the garden with its lounge chairs making this the ideal place to having a quiet and relaxing read in the fresh air.
