House: Casa Filippo is a typical Salentina village house located across the street from the beautiful baroque church of San Filippo in the centre of Diso, a quiet village. One enters through a wooden door into a small, internal, open-air courtyard. A second door leads into the entryway and comfortable living room - the central room of the house - with vaulted ceilings and fireplace. The marble floors and thick walls keep it cool. From the living room: a double bedroom with private bathroom/tub and a second with two single beds.
This bedroom also has a wooden loft with a single bed situated under a star shaped vaulted ceiling. Also from the living room, stained glass doors lead to the light-filled, equipped kitchen and the second full bath/shower.
The kitchen and both bedrooms open onto the terrace and garden, enclosed by an old wall. There are mature local plants and trees, as well as charming details such as an old well.
