Location The Masseria Pezzate is located between the olive trees, prickly pear trees and vegetable garden in the countryside south of Maglie, halfway between Otranto and Gallipoli.
History: dates back to the 5th – 6th century was used to raise sheep and goats up until the 1800’s. 
House : Masseria Le Pezzate has recently been completely renovated maintaining the authenticity and atmosphere of the past while offering the comforts necessary for a enjoyable stay. The house is laid out in an L form. Through the large entry door one accesses the courtyard which is the centre of the structure and upon which all the bedrooms look out.

Fico d'India 1: double bed in the loft, single bed and bathroom ground floor
Fico d'India 2: double bed in the loft, single bed and bathroom ground floor
Pecoredde 1: single room with French bed (140 cm)
Pecoredde 2: a two room suite: 1 master bedroom, a double bedroom and 2 bathrooms
Stalle : 1 triple room with bathroom
A very comfortable living/dining room (connecting to the kitchen) which also looks out on the courtyard as well as the vegetable garden behind, constructed with barrel vaulted ceiling and a lovely fire place,  is the ideal location to enjoy meals and meet up
On the property ,enclosed by ancient stone walls, is a lovely swimming pool available to guests. 
Personal note: The stay will moreover be welcoming as the owners are a lovely couple ready to satisfy every desire of their guests. They are always ready to “light up” their kitchens and set their tables for those who upon request wishes to taste the local flavours.
