Location: Lama di Luna, a beautiful 18th century masseria (farm) is located in the middle of the country side, 300 above sea level on the last offshoots of the north-estern Murgia, between Canosa di Puglia and Andria, 18km from Castel del Monte and 22 km Trani.
History: Once inhabited by farmers and share-croppers, Lama di Luna has recently undergone a toatal restoration. The owner, manager and dear friend, has had the ability to renovate Lama di Luna, following bio-architecture and feng-shui techniques, with all modern comforts without having taken away the charm of the past. 
As a matter of fact at present days,  the masseria still functions as such; on it's 190 hectares of natural landscape, olive-groves, cherry orchards, almond groves and vineyards, all is biologically cultivated (certified AIAB-ICEA).
Guest rooms,  once faremers residence, all have fireplace, they are spacious and bright and look on to the inner courtyard;  beds are northen placed, made of pine or olive wood or brass, mattress are of natural latex , unbleached cotton sheets and towels, olive-oil soaps in bathrooms; the sharp edges have been replaced with round edges ( in nature all is round ); warm water and heating are provided by 48 solar panels. Each details has meticulously been studied to let the natural and positive flow of energy come out and allows guests to feel in total harmony.
There is a large library room for reading, while on the veranda, with an infinite view on the landscape,  guests can enjoy breakfast served with the typical products of Lama di Luna: jams, 'bruschette' , yougurts, cheeses and fruits....
Last but not least, arriving at the property you will be attracted immediately by the panoramic swimming pool and it's amazing setting.
Personal Note: I have personally experience this property more then once and each time I return home with a special, strong, relaxed and positve feeling.  Ideal place to disconnetct with "modern time" and as stop over on/to the way to/from Rome, Naples. Don't forget to visit everything around the area.
