Location: Don Tommaso is located in the middle of the country side of Specchia, near the Adriatic coast and approximately 20kw from the Ionic sandy beaches. Off the main road a small picturesque country road, with beautiful olive groves, fig trees and succulent prickly pears on either sides, leads us to the property.
History: recently renovated, the owners that live part of their time in this house, have had the availability to restore the house with modern comforts without having taken away the charm of the past.
House: from the little country road, a small gate (there are two larger ones) leads us into the 1ha property totally enclosed by a stone wall. Our view fall immediately on the olive grove and private pool, equipped with outdoor furniture and a hot/cold shower. On the left, the house which has a rectangular shape. From the covered furnished patio, through the main door, we enter into the dining/living room, the equipped kitchen on the right and the two double rooms and a smaller living room with sofa/bed on the left. The bedrooms and small living room have their own private bathroom, one of which with bath/shower. All rooms have French-doors which open on the garden.
Personal note: this is an ideal and adorable country house, in a private and tranquil setting away from modern “civilization” but yet close to all places of main interest, where one can enjoy with family or friends a true “salentine” holiday.
